Overview
My Tho is a bustling town in the rich agricultural region of the Mekong Delta and not too far from Saigon. A trip to My Tho will give you a chance to experience the life of people who live along the river, take a boat through small canals and visit a local family’s house for sharing the stories.

Itinerary
Your Travelmates guide will meet you at 8:00am for a full day tour to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Known as the "rice bowl" of Vietnam, the Delta is the most fertile region in the country, and the main producer of rice and tropical fruits. From My Tho, you board your boat and leisurely travel to one of the beautiful islands located in the middle of the Mekong River.
Your tour guide will take you deep into the authentic heart of the Mekong Delta. Stroll through lush local gardens, visit family homes, sample fresh tropical fruits, sip on honey tea, and watch how coconut candy is handmade.
You will then board a smaller sampan and glide along peaceful canals by boat and enjoy traditional folk music performed by local artists
Enjoy a typical and delicious lunch with Vietnamese food in My Tho. After lunch, visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most beautiful and historic pagodas in the region. Admire its unique architecture, which blends traditional Vietnamese and Western styles, and take in the serene surroundings. After the visit, return to Saigon by mid to late afternoon. Lunch included.
