Itinerary

7:30 AM You will be picked up by a Travelmates local guide for the breezy coastal city of Vũng Tàu. Upon arrival you will have time to relax at Thùy Vân Beach also known as Back Beach, famed as one of Vietnam’s most beautiful stretches of sand. With nearly 10 kilometers of golden shoreline and gentle rolling waves, it’s the perfect place to stroll, swim, or simply breathe in the refreshing sea breeze.

Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese meal at a local restaurant, sampling the flavors that make coastal cuisine so unique.

After lunch, proceed to visit some of the most iconic Landmarks of Vũng Tàu if time permits. 

Jesus Christ Statue: Climb the 847 steps to marvel at Asia’s tallest Christ statue, standing an impressive 32 meters high. Those with adventurous spirits can ascend inside the statue’s arms for a breathtaking panoramic view of Vũng Tàu and the East Sea. Alternatively, you will have a chance to visit Vung Tau lighthouse which offers sweeping panoramas of coastline & city. This is a great spot for photos of Vung Tau city.

Thăng Tam Whale Temple: Discover a cultural treasure where locals honor whales as guardian deities of the coast. The temple houses whale skeletons and reflects the deep connection between the sea and the fishermen of Vũng Tàu.

Bạch Dinh (White Palace): Step back in time at this French colonial-era mansion, once the seaside retreat of Governor Paul Doumer in the early 20th century.

Cape Nghinh Phong – Panoramic Vistas:   Before heading back, we stop at Cape Nghinh Phong, a cliffside viewpoint offering sweeping views of the East Sea and the vibrant cityscape of Vũng Tàu – the perfect finale for the day.

At about 4:00 PM – Return to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, take a short break at Long Thành Rest Stop, where you can enjoy local specialties and pick up souvenirs. You will arrive back at your hotel around 6:00 PM
