Overview

Wake up to the vibrant hustle and bustle of Saigon in the early morning. This guided half-day tour takes you through the city’s lively streets as locals start their day, and you'll dive straight into an adventure of culture and street food exploration. You will discover Saigon as locals live it — from school mornings and park rituals to bird cafés, temples, and the city’s most vibrant flower market.

Itinerary

Your adventure starts at 6:30 AM, when you’ll be picked up by a local guide for a fun and authentic morning. Travel through Saigon’s lively streets by private car and get a glimpse into local life. 

Start at Tao Dan Park, where you can see locals practicing Tai Chi, jogging, and enjoying their morning exercises. From there, head to the famous ‘Birds’ Club’ coffee shop, a local hangout spot where you can sip on freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee while watching the unique tradition of bird owners gathering with their pets. Enjoy a classic Vietnamese breakfast: “Southern” style noodles, a savory start to your day. Then, visit a small 100-year-old private house cum temple where devotees gather to perform daily prayers for a fortune day.Take time to make a wish in the local custom for the best of luck. 

Take a leisurely walk to a nearby wet market where you can witness locals bargaining for the freshest produce available. Upon arrival, meander through the various stalls where vendors offer an array of items such as live seafood, dried meats, fresh seasonal vegetables, and even homeware goods. 

Continue on to Ho Thi Ky, the largest wholesale flower market in the city. Wander through alleys bursting with orchids, roses, and lilies, and see how flowers are an integral part of Vietnamese daily life — from morning offerings to festive celebrations. Take time to enjoy the Saigon sights, sounds, and scents - a perfect start to the day. After that, you will be transferred back to your hotel where the tour ends.
