Since the opening in Jun 2018, Golden Bridge has become one of the symbols of Danang City. This masterpiece is located in Ba Na Hills which was founded in 1919 by French colonists and used as a leisure spot for French tourists. On this full day trip to Ba Na Hills, you can enjoy a special architecture of old French villas, walk into the Golden Bridge, take one of the world’s longest cable cars up to the mountain and visit a luxury entertainment area for the French colonists – the Debay Wine Cellar.

Itinerary

Your Travelmates travel mate will pick you up from your hotel in Danang at 8:00am for a full day exploration of the old French Hill station of Ba Na which is just a two-hour drive away. Established by the French colonists in 1919 the area became popular as a summer retreat for the French and later the Vietnamese with, at one time, almost 200 villas. Ba Na is one of the most interesting areas in the region as often you can feel the four distinct seasons within a single day: morning - spring, noon - summer, afternoon - autumn and evening - winter. 

Upon arrival at the station, you will take one of the world’s longest cable cars up the mountain, enjoying the beautiful panoramic view with green forests passing by.  

Explore the Golden Hand Bridge and spend time in the beautiful Tinh Tam Flower Garden & enjoy the panoramic views from Nghinh Phong Peak. Also visit Linh Ung Pagoda with its exquisite architectural design. It was built in 2004 and is symbolized by a 30 meters high Buddha statue that is exposed amidst an immense space of clouds and mountains. 

Visit the old Debay Wine Cellar, once a luxury entertainment area for the French colonists. This is a 100m deep tunnel with the ideal temperature for wine.

Arrive back to your Hoi An hotel at approximately 16.30pm.
