DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – NAM CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK

Leave the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City behind in the morning, heading northeast by private vehicle into the lush wilderness of Nam Cat Tien National Park. Upon arrival, cross the Dong Nai River by ferry boat to check into your accommodation and enjoy some free time to settle into the peaceful atmosphere at the heart of the forest.

In the afternoon, stretch your legs with a gentle 3km soft trek along well-maintained jungle paths. The park quickly reveals its rich biodiversity, showcasing giant ancient trees, dense bamboo groves, and an array of vibrant tropical flora and birdlife. Return to your lodge to rest and dine. As night falls, embark on an exciting night safari drive by open-top vehicle, keeping your eyes peeled with the help of specialized spotters for the park’s fascinating nocturnal residents in their natural habitat.

DAY 2: NAM CAT TIEN – DAO TIEN ENDANGERED PRIMATE SPECIES CENTRE – DEPARTURE

Following your meal, take a short boat ride across the Dong Nai River to Dao Tien Island, home to the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Centre. Here, vital conservation efforts come to life.
