Itinerary

Your Travelmates guide will meet you at 8am for a morning walking tour through the heart of Saigon’s authentic backstreets. The tour will last approximately 3 hours depending on your walking pace and weather conditions. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and outfits for you best comfort.

Saigon is a cultural melting pot with something to offer every traveller - boasting many historic, French-built landmarks, bustling local markets and vibrant street scenes. On this walking tour your knowledgeable local guide will guide you through some of the backstreets of this energetic city. Explore lanes and alleyways few tourists get to see and experience real local street life with all of its colour and activity. It’s a good chance to chat about what we have been seeing along the way, sampling a local street food as you wish or sip a Vietnamese coffee from a cool café place.

If time permits, try boarding a local bus to Saigon’s colourful and fascinating China town with the companion of your guide. It’s a unique experience to be a local during this journey. You will return to your hotel around mid-day.

Please note: This tour is supposed to start from hotel in downtown Saigon. For guests staying at other places outside the downtown, a surcharge will be applied for transferring to the meeting point.
